Organic Fabrics: Amenity Home

Amenity Home is primarily a home textiles and furniture company, but they offer their designs on yardage as well. Friends and business partners Nicole Chiala and Kristina de Corpo run Amenity out of a Los Angeles studio, and create “organic design exclusively on organic or sustainable materials.” The fabrics are printed by hand with non-toxic, water-based, eco-friendly dyes on a premium fabric made from hemp and organic cotton. At $65/yard, they are high-end but reasonable for organic home decor fabrics.

Their nursery textiles collection is equally wonderful (those deer!), but currently they are only offering yardage of their grown-up designs.

I love the big bunny pillow in the nursery collection. A little bit Marimekko, a little bit 2000s woodland-creature trend.

Kim, feel free to go through the “Fabrics” archive at Crafting A Green World for more eco fabrics. The more people know about them, the better.
