Organic Fabric: Oliveira Textiles
Anemone
Oliveira Textiles is a relatively new company based in Bristol, Rhode Island, run by sisters Dawn Oliveira and Deborah Olson. Their current collection, Ocean, is printed on organic hemp, hand silk-screened in New England with waterbased, Organic Trade Association-approved pigments. The weight is ideal for light upholstery, draperies, and pillows. In this post you’re seeing the verde colorway; see the other gorgeous colors, red coral and ultramarine, here.

Design*Sponge posted about this sofa beautifully reupholstered with the Anemone fabric in coral. Sprig has a great interview with the sisters.
Oliveira’s fabrics are available both to-the-trade and retail. Like Rubie Green, they’re high-end, running $120-$140/yard retail.
Their second collection is coming soon, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store.
