Barkcloth Week: Melinamade

Melinamade makes reproduction/retro 1950s-70s fabrics, wallpaper, glassware, and accessories (Tiki Christmas stocking, anyone?). The designs are hand-screenprinted on new, drapery/upholstery-grade barkcloth. The price range for fabric is about $40/yard — I’d call that affordable high-end! Minimum order is one yard.

    I love Melinamade! I recovered our seat cushions in the dining room about 6 years ago, and they look amazing — I really didn’t think they’d last so long. Our next dining room set will also get the melinamade treatment (and next time, maybe matching drapes!)
