Show Us Your Stash

“Show Us Your Stash” will be a regular feature (weekly? we’ll see how it goes for a while) showing people’s recent stash enhancements, stash storage/organization, or fabric choices for an upcoming project. Some folks are talented at combining different fabrics, or staging fabric shots, and I wanted to highlight the most inspiring images here. Occasionally these photographs “in the wild” make me reconsider fabric that I may have previously considered not my taste. Sometimes I pick up new ideas for combining colors, patterns etc. in a way that I wouldn’t have come up with myself.

Hillary of Wee Wonderfuls has evidence that purple and aqua blue play well together (top). She also recently received some folksy Japanese prints from Jen in a swap (bottom).

Rosa Pomar is auditioning fabrics for her next piecing project. What a gorgeous mix of florals.

  1. What a great idea for a blog feature!

I’m a big fan of the “pile it all on the table and see what goes with what” theory. Seems to work fairly well.

You can see some of my vintage stash on my blog via the link.
