Quilt Market Fall 2008: Japanese Fabric: Sunfelt
I found Myrinda of Fabric Hound over the sample rack at the Kokka booth and we became instant BFFs (I think it’s that way with anyone who meets her! She’s insane!). Someone told her she looked like a waitress with her 15-Minute Apron from Threaded Pear Studio, so naturally when confronted with a tray of felt cake, she had to model! The Japanese and American reps, Myrinda’s pal Jonah from Maluhia Designs and A World Away, and all other onlookers were mighty entertained. I think Sunfelt might have to hire her to be their mascot/spokeswaitress.
Anyway! Sunfelt was showing their wool felt products, including ribbon, thick discs and other shapes, and appliques. The sample products were adorable, inspiring, and very Japanese!

I’m inclined to agree with you about Myrinda. She’s a hoot and a half! Maybe we’ll meet at a future market.
I left right before Myrinda and Jonah headed over to where y’all met.

Where can I get my hands on the Sun Felt????
Hi, I’m selling felt patterns and Sunfelt’s felt fabrics. Maybe we can work together sometime?
Hello,
I have been trying to find a distributor for sunfelt for quite sometime. I am in Europe and nobody knows about it. Can you please advise me where to buy in the US online?
