Sorry to keep you in suspense … congratulation to the winners of the Blog Giveaway Day drawings!

For the Michael Miller Fairy Frost Charm Pack, I asked you to name the sparkliest person you know. For this one, I drew a random number: 121, which was Chris who said: “My favorite sparkly person is my 3 year old daughter. Aren’t all little girls sparkly??”

For the Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Sample Card, I asked you to think up a creative name for a new color that features prominently in their life right now. Allie Heath and the other ladies of marketing department at Robert Kaufman were nice enough to choose a winner for me, and they unanimously chose Alissa and her “super hard to find in a solid fabric orange.” They said they agree that good orange solids are hard to come by. (Maybe they have the power to change that!?)

Finally, for the two copies of Stitch Magazine, I asked you to name something you were making for a gift this year. I picked two winners just because their answers stuck with me! 1. froginthepond, who said “I have no idea if this comment will make it in time, but just in case: a silk tie for my brother-in-law, knight’s costume for each of my kids, cape and eye mask for my neice, shirt and skirt for my neice, wristwarmers and wristlet bag for my sister-in-law. If you could include a few extra days between now and Christmas in the giveaway, that would be really handy.” 2. Karen, who said “I’m making giant soft cutlery for my toddlers to use as props for a dancing DVD they like to watch!! One set finished, one to go!” (Stuffed knives for babies? Awesome!)

  1. Alissa says:

Oh how exciting! I figured my color “name” was really more griping than anything, but I’m not complaining. How wonderful and thank you so much!!!

  2. Chris says:

    Thanks a million!!!!

  3. Thank you! I’ve made a little bit of progress in the last few days…on other gifts I’m making!

  4. Michelle says:

Is there anywhere we can get our paws on the Kona solids sample card? I’ve never seen anyplace with a set of all of the swatches…

  5. CJ says:

Is there anyway for us mere mortals to BUY one of those KONA Color Sample Cards???

  6. [...] something I’ve been wanting for a while! I won a Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Sample Card from True Up.++ I’m certain to reference it endlessly and I’m so happy to now be able to order [...]
