    I am making lounge pants and reverse applique tops for my niece & nephews, but so far all I’ve done is wash the fabric! Thanks for the great giveaway!

    I am making all sorts of little thing to give away to family and friends – key chain fobs, checkbook holders, wallets, clutch purses, etc. Some are done, but I have more to go!

    I am making a slew of Jingle Mouse Ornaments, tutorial from Pimp Stitch. They are crazy cute and use just the tiniest scrap of fabric!

    I have been knitting and have made a beret and fingerless gloves for one daughter, and hats for the other two. I am now working on scarves to go with the hats. After all of this knitting, I am looking forward to a bit of sewing!

    I am making passport covers for a few people and cute notebook/pen holders for a few. I am also making a few cloth grocery bags/tote bags. And just about everyone is getting a felt ornament from me this year!

    I’ve just made stockings for my kids, my sons gets a blanket and blocks, and my daughter gets a dress and a doll. My husband gets pj pants that he’s only been begging for, for years now. All handmade.

  13. I am making a camera case for my photographer sister. I hope she loves it!

    Finished: knit hat for Dad; quilted table runner for Mom.

    Starting today: slippers for each of three youngest siblings (13, 12, and 8).

    Later this month: plaid flannel shirt for 18 year old brother; gaiters for 16 year old brother.

    And since I drew the 13 year old brother for our stocking exchange, he also gets a knit scarf, a notebook with a fabric cover, and some kind of homemade treat.

    I love making gifts, and of course I love giveaways. Thanks!

    I’m making a pencil box full o’ headbands for my husband’s second cousins (ages 10 and 8). I’m using the tutorial that Sew Mama Sew linked to in Handmade Holidays 2007. These are two sided and I’m making 6-8 for each, so they get double the amount of headbands for those “critical” mid-morning, mid-afternoon and mid-evening outfit changes.

    I finished some zipper cases with a contrasting fabric applique zig zag stitched on them. They turned out great, and I’m giving one away today!!

    I made a Pointy Kitty from Wee Wonderfuls for a good friend. I made it out of an old quilt that was salvaged. It turned out soft and cute!!!

    I’m making a baby quilt/blanket for a friend – not for Christmas, but for her shower this weekend! Then I get to start Christmas presents – a man’s toiletry bag, framing some photos, a tote/purse/laptop bag, design some wedding rings, knit a soft scarf….it goes on and on.

    I am making all of my presents this year from laptop sleeves for my dad & sis to a lap quilt for my mom. So far its been a lot of fun. :)

    I am making tote bags for my daughter and my friend. I am also making an Emmaline apron for my 20 year old daughter. She actually requested an apron! Any how that is just my start. All are in the beginning phase.

    I have two finished handmade gifts this year – a couple of skeins of handspun yarn, and a pair of felted wool slipper (complete with leater undersoles!). I really like wool as a material..!

    Well, I’m not finished … it’s hopefully a silk scarf for my Mum, printed at a community course I’m doing. I’d love the Stitches magazine, can’t believe Interweave has diversified that far ;)

    How generous for you to do so many different drawings! I’d love to be entered into this one.

    I’m planning on making microwave-chocolate-cake-in-a-mug kits as gifts this year. I’ll probably make some other things too, but we’ll see what kind of time I have on my hands!

    totally doing a “use up what I have on hand” christmas…challenging myself to not buy anything new to make my gifts. right now I’m working on a chef’s apron, hot pad and matching recipe cards for each of my children’s teachers. kind of scary that I haven’t needed to run to the store to buy anything and that I have plenty on hand.

    Oh man, I want this magazine so bad! Loved your review of it. Any idea where I can find it in Canada?
    Christmas projects – finished an apron for my mother in law, working on sock monkeys for two nieces, a super hero cape for my 2 1/2 year old, a stuffed Scottie dog for my mom, a lap top case and capelet for my sister. Guess I better get sewing eh!

    I’m making a ton of gifties – flannel rag quilts, reusable grocery bags, patchwork baskets, etc. It’s my favorite part of Christmas! Of course, every year, I wish I’d started earlier! What I need it more inspiration during the year. Maybe a cool sewing magazine? ;-)

    I’m making some placemats for my parents-in-law. The fabric has gray/black/red comic illustrations of birds standing in a row looking a little cock-eyed. I got it in Dublin, and just last week my sister told me she saw some aprons in a shop made with the same fabric!

    I am making a musical themed quilt in reds, grays, black and white for my daughter who is a senior in high school and will be auditioning on the violin at several schools in February. Hopefully it will be her “lucky” quilt!

    We are doing a totally homemade christmas this year. I am making capes, beanbags, playsilks, a little wooden cradle, a shirt for DH, car stuff for my in-laws, a nightgown for my mom, plus more. I really need to get back to work!

    Well, as I type I’ve just finished the top to a ragged-squares quilt for my brother in his college’s colors (even though he went to my rival school!). I am also almost done constructing a fabric garage (actually a dollhouse, but don’t tell him) for my son to put his cars in. I’ve got many gifts left to go….
