Sandi Henderson: Farmers Market

sandi henderson farmers market mosaic

I heard somewhere that Sandi Henderson’s debut line, Ginger Blossom, was Michael Miller‘s best selling line in the company’s history. (Can someone confirm or deny?) What’s definitely true is that Sandi Henderson, her children’s clothing patterns, and her new line for Michael Miller, Farmers Market, were all the buzz at Spring Quilt Market in Portland this year.

You can keep up with the busy Ms. Henderson on her blog Portobello Pixie and on Flickr. Keep an eye on your favorite fabric store, because Farmers Market is now beginning to arrive! I’ve got my eye on Petal Party, Apple Dot, and Henna Garden.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ginger Blossom. I took a dress into a sewing shop to get buttonholes sewn in and they just drooled over it. I actually was surprised they hadn’t seen it. Can’t wait for Farmer’s Market and her patterns!!
