Amy Butler Preview: Midwest Modern II

I don’t know why the Hancock’s of Paducah catalog always seems to have the scoop on upcoming fabric collections, but they do! The Fall 2008 catalog just arrived here and it contains a preview of Amy Butler‘s next line, Midwest Modern II. It is a mixture of new and reworked/recolored prints from earlier lines. I still love Optic Blossom, and Fresh Poppies (which has a little Vintage Peony in the background) is really spectacular. I hope to see it up close at Quilt Market this weekend!

    It is not fair that one shop gets to know things way before the others. Obviously they have had time to get these printed!!
    Anyway, I like these prints much better than last couple of collections. I did not really fancy the last ones at all as they were just a bit too monotone and lifeless for my liking.
