Digital Printing Inspiration: Bonjour Mon Coussin

bonjourmoncoussin-vroum

If you’re excited about Spoonflower but are having that “but ohmygod I don’t know the first thing about making repeating patterns” panic, take a moment and check out Bonjour Mon Coussin. (By the way “Coussin” translates to “cushion,” not “cousin” as I first thought … I kind of like it my way too!) I’m certain the fabric for their pillows is digitally printed, and they are taking full advantage of the endless color and scale possibilities that the technology allows. See? You don’t have to know a thing about repeats — your fabric-to-be is a big blank canvas and the possibilities are truly endless. (via Decor8.)

I’m really looking forward to seeing what people are going to be up to with Spoonflower. I love these crafty ideas. I’ve printed myself 8.5 x 11 sheets of fabric, but now the possibilities seem endless.
